Radish Employee Rewards App Design.
Employee rewards app design for Radish — a mobile-first platform that ties performance metrics to goal-based incentives and shows employees exactly what they've earned. Craxinno designed the full iOS and Android experience in Figma in 2025.
Most incentive schemes fail for the same reason: the employee can't see the link between what they did and what they got paid. Radish makes that link visible in real time.
The Problem With Employee Incentives
Bonus structures are usually explained once, in an onboarding deck, then never surfaced again. The employee hits a target, waits, and eventually sees a number on a payslip they can't reconcile with anything they actually did.
The result is an incentive that doesn't incentivise. If the reward isn't legible, it can't change behavior.
Radish flips the model. Targets, progress, and earnings live in the same app — so the employee always knows where they stand and what the next action is worth.
The Design Challenge
Two audiences, one app. Business owners need performance insight; employees need clarity on their own earnings. Serve both without turning either experience into a compromise.
Working requirements:
- Make earnings transparent without exposing sensitive business data to employees
- Show progress toward goals, not just completed results
- Get users through onboarding and verification without drop-off
- Present business metrics that a non-analyst owner can act on
- Keep financial history auditable and easy to scan
- Build trust — this app handles money, and money apps live or die on trust
The App Solution
Onboarding and Verification
Phone-based signin with email and phone verification. Financial apps carry a heavy trust burden at exactly the moment users are least invested — so the flow is short, the states are explicit, and every verification step confirms clearly rather than leaving the user guessing.
How Earning Works
A dedicated explainer screen. This is the most important screen in the app. If an employee doesn't understand the earning mechanic, the incentive fails — so it gets its own real estate rather than being buried in a FAQ or a tooltip.
The Motivate Dashboard
Progress toward goals, current standing, and what's within reach. Framed around momentum rather than shortfall: designed to pull the user forward, not report a deficit.
Business Insights
The owner side. Performance metrics presented as clear reads rather than an analytics wall — the owner needs to know what's working and who's delivering, not query a dataset.
Transaction Logs
Every payout, itemised. This is the trust layer. When an employee questions an amount, the answer has to be one tap away and unambiguous.
Support
Reachable, not hidden. Money questions escalate fast when there's nowhere to ask them.
Designing for Financial Trust
Rewards apps handle real money, and any ambiguity reads as a mistake — or worse, a deception.
So the design leans on clarity over polish: unambiguous numbers, plain-language labels, explicit states, no aggressive gamification layered over the payout. Every earning figure is traceable back to the action that produced it.
Visual Direction
Clean, high-legibility, restrained. Numbers are the hero — type scale and hierarchy are built around making figures instantly readable. The palette stays calm rather than celebratory, because a payout screen that looks like a slot machine erodes exactly the credibility it needs.
The Outcome
Radish turns an opaque bonus structure into a visible, trackable system. Employees see what they've earned and what's next; owners see who's performing and where the business stands.
The same clarity-first thinking drives our SaaS and dashboard work — reduce ambiguity at the point where users lose confidence.
